One
(A)  Welcome to our lovely castle. You should know we get lots of visitors. And not only tourists. We regularly have wedding receptions.  The castle is also a popular film location. This means that sometimes people who come to visit the place are disappointed because they can’t get inside or some rooms in the castle are closed to visitors.  But you’re lucky!  The preparations for the next wedding reception won’t start till tomorrow and no film crew is scheduled for this month.  So, let’s take a look.
Two
Listen, everybody! (D)  Now we have to go through a security check.  There’ll be many people there, so  don’t get lost.  And then after watching the daily parade, you’ll meet your guide. He’s going to show you around the castle’s State Apartments and the Tower. These places are crowded so please remember –  follow the guide, and stay with the group at all times while you are in the castle.  There may be some newly-weds having their pictures taken in the courtyard, so try to keep out of the way.
Three
Well, there are a few things I have to say. I trusted you to organize a wonderful reception for my wedding. You knew we had invited 150 people and you said it was going to be in the Great Hall. But (C)  you put us in one of the castle’s smallest rooms.  We also agreed the photographs would have the castle in the background, but  the outside walls of the castle are completely covered because they are being renovated.  Why didn’t you say anything earlier?  My wedding day was ruined!
Four
Hi, Jenny. I’m back from a day out with my class. It was fun, but it didn’t go exactly as we had planned. To get to the castle, we had to walk up hundreds of stone steps. They went on and on. They weren’t in good condition at all and climbing them was a nightmare. But we didn’t complain because we wanted to see (B)  the spectacular view from the top and it was well worth the effort. The view was absolutely fantastic!  And the guide told us lots of scary stories about the castle ghosts. So on the whole we had a really good time there.
